The Callaway Big Bertha 460 driver has a geometrical all-titanium design that sees the head stretched and flattened to touch the dimensional limits set by the R&A and the USGA. This results in a deeper Centre of Gravity location for longer and straighter off-centre shots as well as optimum ball flight and maximum forgiveness. The Callaway Big Bertha 460 has the modified version of VFT Technology in which face thicknesses are designed specifically to maximize performance under the new USGA Characteristic Time test, resulting in a more robust face for increased ball speed on shots hit all over the face.

Wider head shape produces the highest Moment of Inertia ever in a Callaway Golf all-titanium head, resulting in increased stability and straighter drives. The Callaway Big Bertha 460 has a Consistent Alignment Sole, meaning the club head rests on two distinct areas of the sole, eliminating the tendency of the head to rock back and forth and helping ensure that shots start on-line. A Correct Alignment Stripe works in conjunction with the Chevron logo, allowing golfers to consistently square the club face at address to ensure correct alignment.The Callaway Big Bertha 460 driver is an example of what Callaway do best, which is to make large headed drivers that are forgiving and very easy to hit. The head shape has evolved and looks very sleek compared to previous models and sits very nicely behind the ball. With the weight moved a little further back it is also pretty straight and the all titanium head gives a nice solid sound at impact. We really like the alignment sole that means the club head cannot be twisted at address. Overall a very solid club for all levels of player.
